Paul Sherman Climbs Stairs Gulch West Headwall. Most people ski Stairs Gulch via Bonkers and do the car shuttle thing. The West Headwall is considerably more committing. It is really steep and always has variable snow conditions. The next time I do this couloir I am bringing crampons for down low and verts for up high.
